Ni-Cd accumulator as part of batteries 5КН150Р, 75КН150, 50КН150 is designed for diesel engine start-up, as well as power supply of control lighting circuits by direct current when diesel engine of diesel-locomotive shunter ChME2, ChME3, TEM-2, TEM-7, TGM is not operating.
